The GMC-approved postgraduate training
curriculum
for trauma and orthopaedic surgery is
available online.
Training pathway
Trainees complete either themed or generic
surgical training at ST1 and ST2 level and enter trauma and
orthopaedic surgery training at ST3 level to ST8. In Scotland
trainees can enter T&O training from ST1*
Qualifications
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
Entry into ST3 requires successful completion of MRCS or equivalent
at time of application.
