Specialty curriculum

The GMC-approved postgraduate training curriculum for allergy is available.

Training pathway

Trainees complete either core medical training or the acute care common stem in acute medicine (ACCS) and enter allergy training at ST3 level.*

Length of training

The minimum duration of training in order to receive a CCT in allergy is seven years of whole time equivalent study from ST1.

Qualifications

For entry at ST3 level, the following qualifications are required.  MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.  MRCP (UK) or equivalent
