Success at application videos
South Thames Foundation
School have allowed us to share video interviews with
four F2 doctors from Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals Trust
who were successful in their applications to specialty.
The interviews offer useful insights into what
approach each took in their applications. The videos cover Core
Medical, Core Surgical, General Practice and Radiology. They were
filmed in summer 2012.
Each applicant talks about how they made and
confirmed choices of specialty together with a ‘plan B’ - how they
made the most of foundation and how they approached the application
form and interview stages. To sum up they give useful tips and also
share what they would like to have done better.
