Peninsula Deanery National Medical Education Conference:
Near-peer education – strategies and planning for the junior
doctor
Academic foundation doctors from Peninsula Deanery, supported by
the Academy of Medical Educators, are hosting a one-day medical
education conference at the Peninsula Medical School Building,
Exeter. The day will include lectures from eminent academic medics
on how to pursue a career in academic medicine and life as an
academic. There will also be the chance to participate in
interactive and educational workshops.
If you are a current foundation doctor who
teaches, and would like to share your experiences in teaching, they
are currently accepting submissions of abstracts. If you are
interested in presenting, please submit a 200-word abstract to
academiceducationconference@gmail.com.
The event is free to attend (with a refundable
deposit of £20), and lunch will be provided. Please email the above
