Masterclass in Imaging of Gynaecological Cancers
This Masterclass in Imaging of Gynaecological
Cancers is a new one-day teaching course which will highlight
current imaging techniques, image interpretation and pitfalls in
imaging gynaecological malignancies. Workshop style teaching
with individual imaging workstation in small groups will afford
participants the opportunity to learn through hands-on case-based
learning, in addition to diadectic lectures.

Joint Injections
This highly practical one day course is aimed
at practitioners working with musculoskeletal patients who would
like to improve their assessment, diagnosis and management skills
of musculoskeletal conditions including the role and theory behind
musculoskeletal corticosteroid injections.
The day will be split between a series of
short lectures and small group work where the use of specific
custom made latex models will be used to ensure as life like as
possible experience is gained in the practical work.
The aim of the course is to enable delegates
to be able to use the skills they gain immediately in their
practise on completing the course.

Enhancing Skills for Primary Care Ophthalmology
The course covers the whole range of common
and rare eye conditions encountered in Primary Care and much more.
The course is based around the syllabus for Ophthalmology issued by
the RCGP and covers all that the busy GP is expected to know and
manage in Primary Care.
There is a strong practical focus including
"how to use your ophthalmoscope"" and "how to evert an eyelid" and
many more practical tips. The course is informal, interactive and
has been running for over five years and has been tailored to the
feedback of those attending from Primary Care.

Meeting and 13th Annual Teaching Course
The 13th annual course of our Society
will focus on practical problem solving in cancer patients through
interactive teaching and the fostering of active learning.
State of the art and novel imaging techniques will be highlighted.
A special plenary session by guest speakers from the Society
of Computed Body Tomography and Magnetic Resonance will turn the
spotlight on the use of Dual Energy and Low Dose CT Techniques in
oncology patients. Back by popular demand will be a session
on Cases We Would Like To Do Over. Delegates will have the
opportunity to learn about cases reviewed with the benefit of
hindsight! Small group sessions, interactive workshops,
computer based hands-on workshops and Meet the Teacher
appointments will be available for individualised learning.
There will be scientific sessions, dedicated to proffered
papers, presenting research in the field of imaging in oncology.
There will also be a poster exhibition and the best overall paper
